MuTh Concert Hall Announced as Official Venue for Classic Winds International Competition 2027
The Classic Winds International Competition is delighted to announce the MuTh Concert Hall in Vienna, Austria, as the official venue for its highly anticipated fifth edition in 2027.
Located in one of the world’s foremost musical capitals, MuTh — Musik & Theater Wien stands among Vienna’s most innovative and versatile performance spaces, renowned for its exceptional acoustics, contemporary architecture, and dynamic artistic vision.
Opened in 2012 with an inaugural concert featuring the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vienna Boys’ Choir, MuTh has established itself as a vibrant meeting point for music and theatre, embracing both classical tradition and artistic experimentation. With an annual program of nearly 300 productions, the venue presents an extraordinary range of performances spanning classical and choral music, opera, jazz, electronic music, contemporary works, dance, performance art, and musical theatre.
