He serves as Professor of Clarinet at the Colburn School's Conservatory of Music, Music Academy, and Community School of Performing Arts, where he has shaped one of the premier clarinet programs in the world. As Music Director of the Colburn Orchestra and a founder of the Colburn Conservatory, he has played a defining role in shaping its artistic vision and cultivating its reputation as a leading institution for musical excellence.
Yehuda Gilad also holds a faculty appointment at the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music and is a Visiting Professor at the Royal Academy of Music, extending his influence across continents. He has mentored generations of clarinetists who now hold hundreds of positions in leading orchestras, chamber ensembles, and academic institutions around the world.
